MPLS Ethernet Over Copper Brochure (EOC)
In today’s world, businesses are more dispersed than ever but sti ll need to operate as a united organization. In order to enhance their producti vity, these organizati ons need to be seamlessly interconnected through high-speed, high-bandwidth networks. Traditi onally, the level of communication between sites were heavily dependent upon the level of bandwidth limitati ons that service providers could provide in the Metro Area Network (MAN). The headquarter offi ce may have been connected to the service provider’s Central Offi ce (CO) over fi ber but smaller satellite and branch offices typically lacked access to fi ber and in many cases were connected over a slower speed Wide Area Network (WAN) connecti on based on frame relay or T1/E1 leased-line services.
